VORTEX PATCHES FOR THE EULER EQUATIONS IN A FINITE CHANNEL

Abstract: By making use of an adaption of Arnold variational principle [4], we construct a family of vortex patches of the inviscid, incompressible steady flow in a finite channel $\mathbb{T} \times [0,1]$.
