    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2006, 26 (3):  321-328.
    Abstract ( 1555 )   RICH HTML   PDF (265KB) ( 21 )   Save
Let G be a graph, and let g and f be integer-valued functions defined on V(G) such that g(x)≤ f(x) for all x∈ V(G). A graph G is called a (g,f,H)-extendable ifafter deleting the vertices of any subgraph which is isomorphic to H the remaining subgraph of G has a (g,f)-factor. In the
paper the characterization of (g,f,H)-extendable graph is given. Furthermore, the properties of (g,f,n)-extendable graph(H=nK1) are studied.

    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2006, 26 (3):  343-352.
    Abstract ( 1718 )   RICH HTML   PDF (457KB) ( 47 )   Save
It is of considerable interest in testing for heteroscedasticity in many practical studies. In this paper, the authors discuss this type of problem in framework of semiparametric mixed models. A global score test is proposed for the null hypothesis that all the variance components are zero. The test is based on the approaches of Lin (1997), the authors examine its performance in a simulation study, illustrate the test methods by using the progesterone data. The test can be easily implemented by using existing statistical softwares.

Let $\{\xi_n,n\geq 1\}$ be a sequence of positive random variables with $\ep \xi_1=\theta>0$, and $S_n=\sum\limits^n_{n=1}\xi_i, Y_n=n\theta\log (S_n/(n\theta))$. In this article, the author gives strong approximations of power sums $\{Y_n\}$ be Wiener

    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2006, 26 (3):  382-386.
    Abstract ( 1416 )   RICH HTML   PDF (301KB) ( 22 )   Save
A deterministic global optimization algorithm is proposed
for locating global minimum of generalized geometric programming (GGP), which can be applied to engineering designs. By utilizing the linear underestimates of the objective and constraint functions, the relaxation linear programming (RLP) about GGP is established, thus the initial non-convex problem (GGP) is reduced to a series of linear programming (RLP).The proposed branch and bound algorithm is convergent to the global minimum of GGP through the successive refinement of the feasible region and
the solutions of a series of RLP. And finally the numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of
    the present algorithm.

    Abstract ( 1760 )   RICH HTML   PDF (308KB) ( 117 )   Save
Let <b>T:X→X</b> be a continuous mapping on a compact metric space <b>(X,d)</b>. In this paper, the authors give a direct proof of the equality of the pressure of <b>T</b> and that of <b>T</b> restricted to its non-wandering set, P(T,f)=(T|_\Omega,f|_\Omega),f\in C(X,R,without applying the variational principle. The authors also discuss the relation of the pressures of two systems which are semiconjugate, and show that the pressure is invariant under the uniformly finite-to-one semi-conjugacy.

    Abstract ( 1850 )   RICH HTML   PDF (345KB) ( 27 )   Save
The goal of this paper is to study systematically a food chain model consisting of one prey and two predator spacies. The authors show the interactions may lead to that two predators species are both extinct or one of them is extinct, or all three species may be coexistent in the form of positive steady state or oscillatory solutions. Using AMTLAB software, the authors present two examples to simulate these conclusions.
