Quantum Statistical Entropy of Black Hole
    DIAO Ren, ZHANG Li-Chun
    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2004, 4 (5):  513-520.
    Abstract ( 1919 )   RICH HTML   PDF (358KB) ( 1542 )   Save

Using the method of quantum statistics, the authors derive the partition function of bosonic and fermionic field in various coordinates and obtain the integral expression of the entropy of black hole. Then via the improved brickwallmethod and membrane model, the authors obtain that if they choose proper parameter, the entropyof black hole is proportional to the area of horizon. In their result, the stripped term and the divergent logarithmic term in the original brickwall method no longer exist. The authors offer a new simple and direct way of calculating the entropy of black holes in various coordinates.

Bidirectional Double Tracings and Maximum Genus
    HUANG Yuan-Qiu, LIU Pan-Pei, CHU Yu-Meng
    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2004, 4 (5):  530-536.
    Abstract ( 1572 )   RICH HTML   PDF (388KB) ( 1581 )   Save

Let G be a connected graph and L be a bidirectional double tracing of G. The authors first introduce a new invarint of G, which is called the  retracing number and denoted by ε(G).  The definition  of ε(G) is  given as follows: ε(G)=min〖DD(X〗L〖DD)〗 ε(G, L), where  ε(G, L) is the number of retracings in L, and the minimum ranges over all bidirectional double tracings of G. Then, for a connected 3regular graph G  the authors prove that ε(G) is closely related to the maximum genus γ\-M(G) of G, namely ε(G), equals to the value 2γ\-M(G)-β(G) where β(G) is the rank number of G.  Also the authors  provide an instructural characterization on thegraph G  according to the value ε(G). Thus these  may be viewed as  some  generalizations  of  Thomassen C's results.

Characteristics of Quantum Nonthermal Radiation and the \=Range of the Radiation Particles for a Black Hole \=with Charge and Magnetic Dipole Moment
    SHU Zheng, LIN Li-Ban
    Acta mathematica scientia,Series A. 2004, 4 (5):  578-582.
    Abstract ( 2068 )   RICH HTML   PDF (348KB) ( 1730 )   Save

The distribution of particle energy levels in an axially symmetric stationary nonKerrNewman spacetime has something to do with electromagnetic fourpotential and is influenced by the existence of electric charge and magnetic dipole moment of the black hole as well as the appearance of singular points. The distribution of energy levels vary with directions. The quantum nonthemal radiation and the average range of the particles all depend on the energy extent of the radiation particles.
