Abstract: In searching for the formula of the magnetic flux density at a focus of an elliptically shaped coil with direct current,we found that the expression given by such well-known book as Electromagnetics by Kraus and Carver seemed to be wrong. In this correspondence, we calculate this flux density by fairly elementary mathmatics.
